Don’t Give Up Just Yet

Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” – Winston Churchill

“When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hold on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.” – Harriet Beecher Stowe

Be strong and don’t give up! Boldness is confidence in your strength, being confident that your strength is greater than any adversity, so you have strength and boldness, why would you even think or believe otherwise, you should never cower in fear, or run away from challenges, because these are opportunities for you to show who you are. It is true that to give up is easier than holding on but these tests are what make us stronger, challenging situations come one after the other so if you give up on one, you will give up on the next one and the one after until you give up on living and just merely be existing, and do not for a minute think that living and existing are the same.

“All your life you are told the things you cannot do. All your life they will say you’re not good enough or strong enough or talented enough; they will say you’re the wrong height or the wrong weight or the wrong type to play this or be this or achieve this. THEY WILL TELL YOU NO, a thousand times no, until all the no’s become meaningless. All your life they will tell you no, quite firmly and very quickly.
AND YOU WILL TELL THEM YES” – Nike ad

“Other people and things can stop you temporarily. You’re the only one who can do it permanently.” – Zig Ziglar

“The men who try to do something and fail are infinitely better than those who try to do nothing and succeed.” – Lloyd Jones

“Whatlies behindus and whatlies before usare tiny matterscomparedto what lies within us” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

You may have noticed that life is tough, it is hard not to notice isn’t it? It takes some people decades to notice it, it takes others years to notice, but the question is what do you do when you realise that life is tough, do you cower and face everyday with fear or do you wake up every morning with strength, boldness and persistence, ready to face your world and ‘win’?
